Storming the Scots

As we set up our mini store Saturday, all we could hear was Bag Pipes and the accents of true Scots testing the microphones. For a moment, we got a bit lost as to where we were. People poured in bearing their Family's Tartan. Our neighbors who hand weave tartans educated us on the different types and how each family has a specific tartan, or plaid. The heavy athletic games began behind us and people started storming our tent from all sides trying to discover what this foreign Traveling Sister was all about.

The day flew by! We met so many wonderful people from all over the Midwest and saw some absolutely beautiful tartans! Thank you to Mcpherson for having such a great festival! We had an amazing time watching all the old cars in front of us and listening to the Scottish bands beside us! We definitely got our Scottish on for the day!

This week look out for our new Fur and Leather Jackets!!! They are STUNNING!!!

XXOO,
The Traveling Sister
