The Weekend Forecast

So Sistas it is finally Friday and almost time to leave that desk for a little bit of relaxation and FUN! What are your big plans for the weekend?? There's so much going on from the concerts at the Intrust Bank Arena to the Final Friday Art to the Chocolate tasting at the Exploration Place. And also, it's the last two days for the Final Four Sale!!! We have a crazy amount of cute things that will help to spice your weekend up a bit. Spring Cleaning

It's that time again ladies. Get in your closets and start cleaning. We do this at least twice a year to transition our closets from winter/fall to spring/summer and vice versa. Throughout the years we have found some amazing tips to help organize our closets.

1. Create your three piles of Yes, No, and Maybe.

2. For those Maybes, Have you worn it in the last 6 months? Does it fit correctly? Do you still LOVE it?
      If you answer no, then put it in the no pile right away. You really have to be tough and just get rid of those things that you know (in the end) you are never going to wear. If you have multiple of the same style, then consolidate and pick your favorite. If you think one day it may be "vintage" or it has sentimental value, then safely store it away; you do not need it in your closet. But for those impulse buys that you wore once, get them out!!!

2. Organize! Personally this is our favorite part.
      There's so many different ways to organize your closet: by style, by type, by occasion, but our favorite is by color! So when you are in a certain mood, you can just go to that color and grab what you want.

3. After all of that organizing, you may have noticed that your closet is missing some things. This is the perfect time to write those down and as you shop for spring keep that little list in your purse so you can complete your wardrobe.

4. Now Stand And Stare at your Amazing new closet!!!!

And remember for every item you get rid of, you get to replace it with a brand new one ;) Don't forget about the Final Four coupon!! This weekend is your last chance!!!

Commandment Number Two

Hello Sistanistas!!

2. Thou shalt always have a pair of jean leggings in the closet.

Jean Leggings or Jeggings are one of those staples that can pull an outfit together. They are easy, lightweight and give the illusion that you are wearing a jean. And now that we have our longer, looser version in, you can cuff your legging for spring. Wear your jeggings with dresses or tunics and add that touch of denim without the weight. If you don't already have a pair in your wardrobe then stop in and get yours!!!

Monday Monday Monday

The sun is out. The sky is clear. And spring is in the air! So here are some colors and patterns to brighten up your day:

 What do tie-dye, turquoise, and polka dot have in common???

This sassy little ensemble! 

Our starting point was this tie-dyed maxi dress that is swirled with purples, browns, and greens. With so many different colors, there are so many things you can do with this versatile dress. We chose to start off with a basic white long sleeve blouse and layer that with a gray and purple thermal to add a little different texture. Then for some pattern play, we paired a blue polka dot scarf with it and a turquoise pendant necklace. Together the colors, patterns, and texture gives this look a fun, flirty edge. Every woman will be stopping you on the street asking, "Where did you get that?!"

Commandment Number One

On this dreary, windy day we would like to introduce all of our Sistas to our Commandments of Fashion. Through the years of styling and wardrobing we have quite the number of tricks, dos, and don'ts that everyone should know.

The first commandment: You shall always remember your tap pants.

Have you ever been wearing a dress or tunic that sticks to your leggings or sneaks in between your legs when you don't even realize it. Then you need these tap pants. We wear these under Everything!
